むなしいことば 2

ある者は自分でもわからずに、
ある真理を明らかにすることがある。
かと思うと、内に真理を抱きながら
ことばで告げない者がある。
彼らのうちには、リズムある沈黙をたもって
精神が宿っているのだ。
道端や市場で友だちに会うとき、
あなたの内なる精神に導かせて　唇と舌を動かしなさい。
あなたの声の内なる声に　友の耳の内なる耳に語らせなさい。
なぜなら友の魂はワインの味をおぼえるように
たとえ色が忘れられ、器が失（う）せた後でも
あなたの心の真実をおぼえつづけるだろうから。

And there are those who talk, and without knowledge or foresight
reveal a truth which they themselves do not understand.
And ther are those who have the truth within them, but they tell it not in words.
In the bosom of such as these the spirit dwells in rhythmic silence.

When you meet your friend on the roadside or in the marketplace,
let the spirit in you movr your lips and direct your tongue.
Let the voice within your voice speak to the ear of his ear;
For his soul will keep the truth of your heart as the taste of the wine is remembered.
When the colour is forgotten and and the vessel is no more.

とり憑かれたように　しゃべり続けるひとがいます
そんなとき　そのひとの言葉づらを追っても　そのひとの心の迷宮に共に迷い込むだけです
じっと心の耳を澄ませ　言葉の奔流（ほんりゅう）の奥に埋もれている
そのひとの＜本当に求めていること＞を探らねばなりません
寡黙（かもく）なひとも　しゃべらないからといって
その精神が饒舌（じょうぜつ）でないとはかぎりません
黙して語らぬひとの心の声に耳傾け　瞳の色を読むことで
そのひとの内包するものにふれたなら　意外な真実をそこにみるかもしれません☆
